LGBTQ+

We value family, and strive to do all we can to provide compassionate fertility care in a supportive, inclusive and forward-thinking environment to all individuals. The pursuit of parenthood isn’t always easy, and we’re here to help you achieve your dream of family.

Love is love, and love builds a family.

Not all paths to parenthood are the same, and some are more challenging to navigate than others, but we have the experience and resources to make the process smooth, efficient, and effective, no matter what yours may be.

Support is key, and for those pursuing donor egg IVF, embryo donation, or utilization of a gestational carrier, you can expect individualized guidance and support from one of our dedicated 3rd party reproduction coordinators, who we couldn’t feel more fortunate to have as a part of the team at PREG. Their experience, enthusiasm, diligence, and attention to detail is unmatched, and a highlight of the experience you can expect at PREG. Emotional and interpersonal challenges are sometimes difficult to fully anticipate and, for that reason, we’ll help coordinate pre-treatment counseling with a licensed professional who has special interest in and a great deal of experience with reproductive matters. Legal counseling, planning, and representation is essential, and coordination with professionals who know exactly how to meet your needs is an integrated part of the treatment experience at PREG.

You can expect all of this and more in a welcoming environment at PREG.

Treatment options for LGBTQ families.

Single men and gay couples.

Family building in this setting is complex since both egg or embryo donation and utilization of a gestational carrier are necessary. The process may seem daunting, but the most important next step is scheduling an appointment with one of our providers to learn more. You can expect a welcoming environment, a dedicated treatment coordinator, and access to both in-house donor egg and embryo donation programs as well as all accredited donor egg agencies, frozen donor egg banks, and gestational carrier agencies. We’ll also facilitate referral to legal counsel with expertise in reproductive care who will advocate for you, no matter the state in which you may live.

Single women and lesbian couples.

Women in same-sex relationships have many options when it comes to building or adding to your family, and we’re here to help you learn more and determine which way forward is best. Treatment typically involves utilization of donor sperm (from known donors or via accredited donor sperm banks), and we encourage you to schedule an appointment for clear and complete counseling regarding the donor sperm selection process.
Donor sperm-based fertility treatment may be relatively simple in the case of donor insemination (IUI) or more complex (but also more efficient) when IVF is planned. When it comes to IVF, even more options arise, including traditional IVF (eggs from one woman/member of a couple with the same to carry the pregnancy) and reciprocal/co-IVF (eggs from one member of a couple with a plan for the other to carry the pregnancy). Schedule an appointment today to learn more.

Transgender individuals.

For individuals who have already undergone or are planning transition or couples with at least one member being transgender, reproductive considerations are important and the options many. Both egg and sperm banking are available at PREG along with a comprehensive range of reproductive treatment options.

Understanding your financial options.

We understand that financial matters may seem daunting when it comes to fertility treatment. Our team of financial counselors are highly experienced, committed, and here to ensure that you feel fully informed every step of the way. We have contracts with all major insurance carriers and are part of the Progyny, Carrot, Maven, and WINFertility networks. Financing options are available, no question is too small, and we’re ready to serve as your advocate to find a financial plan that works for you.
