With over 7 years of experience in women’s health and 3 years specifically in fertility, Dr. Khader is dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate their complex path to parenthood. He completed undergraduate training in his hometown of Philadelphia, at Temple University (Go Owls!) where he graduated summa cum laude and first in his class with a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences.
He then went on to attend Cornell University for medical school, where he discovered his passion for women’s health during clinical rotations. After delivering his first baby, he was hooked by the feeling of guiding patients safely through one of the happiest moments of their lives. That transformative experience led him to commit himself to a career of bringing new life into the world.
At Cornell, he was honored to be selected by his peers to represent his class on the Medical Student Executive Council and received numerous accolades, including the SM Friedman, MD Memorial Scholarship, awarded to only two students annually in recognition of their dedication to scholarship. During his summers, he volunteered his time working academically with underserved youth interested in one day having careers in medicine.
For residency, Dr. Khader attended Yale University, where he received the AAGL Minimally Invasive Surgery Award for his excellence in surgical practice and was invited to lecture on multiple topics. Additionally, he completed a quality improvement scholarship researching strategies to minimize postoperative pain, along with various other projects in women’s health and fertility technology.
He completed his fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he was awarded the Resident Teaching Award for his contributions to education. His thesis work focused on gonadotropin dosing based on weight, and he anticipates that his forthcoming publication will significantly influence how gonadotropin dosing is selected for patients undergoing their first IVF cycle. He additionally had the privilege of publishing multiple book chapters on the topics of premature ovarian insufficiency and gynecological ovarian pathology.
Dr. Khader is excited to collaborate with the talented PREG team to enhance their outreach in the community and connect with those seeking support and effective solutions on their fertility journeys.
