My name is Megan and my husband Eric and I started our infertility journey with y’all in Columbia with dr McCoy over 2 years ago or so. We had been trying to get pregnant for almost 3 years with no luck. We tried a lot of meds for my husband and I had to have a surgery myself. None of the meds worked for my husband and we were left with the decision to do ivf. We started the ivf journey in April of last year. We were able to retrieve 5 eggs and all fertilized. Unfortunately we lost one embryo but we were able to freeze 4 healthy embryos. We had to wait awhile before transfer. We transferred our first embryo July 3rd 2018. Two weeks later I took a home pregnancy test and after 3 years of staring at negative test I finally saw a positive! On March 15 2019 at 9:24am we welcomed our first daughter Emma lowe. She weighted 8lbs 15oz and was 20 1/2in long. I will forever be thankful for the doctors and nurses at preg! They made this journey a little easier! We loved dr McCoy and we will be back in a few years to hopefully have another miracle baby! My pregnancy with Emma was very healthy and easy! I joke all the time that the hard part was getting her here
