The Thegos society, that of former graduates of the OB/GYN residency program at MUSC, held its 55th annual meeting at Kiawah Island over Labor Day weekend and this year was particularly special for us as Dr. Tarnawa served as the society’s president and Dr. Snow was a guest speaker.
Dr. Tarnawa is an active member of the Thegos society and hasn’t missed a meeting since completing his residency at MUSC in 2011. Dr. Snow, an invited speaker, presented a lecture on elective egg freezing. Both Drs. Snow and Tarnawa were responsible for coordinating the invitation and attendance of Dr. Suheil Muasher as the keynote speaker, an internationally respected REI physician and mentor to Dr. Snow during her fellowship training at Duke University.
What a wonderful weekend! Our relationship with the department of OB/GYN at MUSC is extremely important to us, and we look forward to continued collaboration in the future.
