Dr. Tarnawa is a native Texan who graduated from Southern Methodist University before receiving his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he finished first in his class and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society. Before joining PREG in 2017, Dr. Tarnawa spent four years at the Medical University of South Carolina completing his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He then returned to Dallas for fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
As a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Tarnawa’s professional specialties include in vitro fertilization, recurrent pregnancy loss, polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, male factor infertility, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, fertility preservation, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Tarnawa is married and has a beautiful little girl who is the light of his life. He is eager to serve the fertility needs of patients in the Upstate of SC, Western NC and the Midlands.
