Simply IVF From A Physicians Perspective

As a fertility specialist I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to help patients achieve pregnancy, have a family and fulfill their dreams. Consulting with those struggling with fertility issues, I’m careful to customize the treatment for each patient according to their wishes, their medical history and to give them the highest chance of getting pregnant. Simply IVF has expanded our offerings, making our services available to many patients that may not have been a candidate before.

Simply IVF utilizes a small device called an INVO Cell, to allow for a true miracle – natural conception – to occur within a woman’s own body. Allowing the egg and sperm to connect without many of the highly technical procedures performed inside the IVF lab. This incubation technique is fairly new to the market and can radically reduce the cost of in vitro fertilization for some patients.

I’ve seen the benefits of Simply IVF go way beyond the financial. The emotional impact of participating in the fertilization between egg and sperm has its own benefit for many patients. They are seeking out a process that feels more holistic and less tampered with. For them, knowing that conception occurred naturally, that no one “chose” that exact sperm and egg, can ease religious or moral concerns regarding fertility treatments. The process also requires fewer hormone treatments, office visits and monitoring making it overall gentler on the woman’s body and schedule.

There are plenty of situations when I am grateful to have many tools of science to go the steps further when necessary but, I am proud to be able to offer this as another option for my fertility patients.

Simply IVF may not be the best option for every patient, but cost can be a limiting factor with traditional IVF. Removing this barrier makes fertility treatment available to 75% of people struggling with fertility that may not have been able to receive treatment otherwise. If you are wondering whether Simply IVF could be a fit, here’s what I recommend for best results:

  • Patients under 35 years of age
  • Have normal semen parameters, with no sperm issues
  • Have a BMI of less than 32
  • Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) level of >1.0 but <4.0
  • No PCOS or Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
